Keratsis honored by Bartko Foundation

The Bartko Foundation’s annual charity golf tournament held a surprise ending for Boston National Title Founder and CEO John Keratsis. After the winning foursome was presented with the tournament trophy, event emcee and Bartko Foundation board member Nathan Bossers announced Keratsis as the recipient of the TJB award. Named for Bartko founding father — Theodore Joseph Bossers — the annual award acknowledges an individual’s long-standing financial support of the organization. The Pittsburgh-based Bartko Foundation provides minority women with a path to self-sufficiency via programs focused on education, transportation, housing and employment. More than 300 mothers and 600 children now live happier, more productive lives thanks to The Bartko Foundation and perennial benefactors like Keratsis who believe in the organization’s mission. “Given the quality of my golf game, I hardly expected to be called to the podium,” quipped Keratsis in a post-event interview. “I’m truly honored, though. The Bartko Foundation does incredible work and is supported by many others just as worthy of the TJB award as I am.” For more information on The Bartko Foundation, its mission, programs and fund-raising initiatives, please visit bartkofoundation.org.
